I’ve always been a ‘helper.’ I have a lot of empathy for others and their situations and find myself trying to help where I can.
My background is in science. Freshwater biology to be exact. I have a passion for the environment and nature. I’m also a ‘maker.’ I make glass art, pottery, and various kinds of jewelry. And, of course, I’ve always been a writer. I love to try new things and gain new skills.
I'm insatiably curious and love researching new things and ideas.
The topics I find interesting are truly too numerous to mention. Once I’m asked to research something, I always find myself eager to learn more about it.
I’m especially interested in people and what makes them “tick.” I’ve become particularly interested in why people buy what they do, about the factors that motivate them. So, I like exploring that, doing background research on the likeliest customers of a particular product or service.
My natural empathy enables me to understand your customers and speak to them, so they feel understood. I feel comfortable writing about pretty much any subject or business once I dig into the research. Writing for diverse businesses especially interests me because I will be constantly learning.
